    Out in the Barkly Tableland country of Northern Territory, this 513,000 hectare cattle station (said to have a maximum holding capacity of 200,000 head) is a long way from anywhere, which is mostly Alice Springs and geez I mean a long way. Not that we've ever been there. Or likely to.

    But my Dad loved the place, and back in the '70s and '80s he had some cousins involved in it, and in his regular travels he swung by no less that 5 times, camping and catching up for a week or two each time before moving on. These are a few of the many bits of the station's life and landscape that caught his eye....
